In order for me to let you use one of my full-resolution images, I want you to realize that you could only use this for display on DA. You cannot receive any commercial gain from it. You cannot sell the image to anyone else (regardless of the work you put into it). Everywhere you post the image, you need to give me credit for the original image along with a link to my DA page (my actual website will be up soon).
It looks like you already do this, but I just want to be clear. I create graphics as a professional and completely understand copyright law. The first steps are to make sure you do your best to protect your investments. Although my illustrations are more of a hobby to me, I spent a lot of time creating them. I don't want to see all that time go to waste through someone else taking my image and making money off it in any form or fashion. That is the main reason I don't post my latest work larger than 900px.
If you are in agreement that you will not modify the original art in any way other than coloring it, and you will not use the image for any financial gain, you won't give the image away to others, you post a version only to DA that isn't extremely high in resolution (over 900px in any direction), and you agree to the rest of the terms I gave above. If you are ok with these terms, send me your email, dropbox, or some other way that I can transfer the full resolution black and white image to you.
That said, I am excited to see what you will create. I am not at all happy with the way I painted in the color on my work and it will be refreshing to see how someone else would do it.

I found that your coloring work on this piece was amazing and probably better than I could do, the only thing I didn't like about it was the colors you used, I'm going to go in a different direction with it.
I will take my time and try and make my coloring of your fantastic piece as professional looking as possible. Also I will send the finish work back to you before uploading it, just in case there are any changes that you would like made.
